About the artist

Svitlana Tykhomyrova is a contemporary Ukrainian painter living and working in Belgium. In 2009, she graduated from Cherkasy State Technological University with a degree in Graphic Design. Before dedicating herself entirely to art, she worked as a graphic designer in advertising agencies and as a marketing manager. Drawing had been her passion since early childhood and remained a constant part of her life.

Since 2010, Svitlana has devoted herself fully to her artistic career. She regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions in Ukraine, Belgium and abroad. One of the highlights of her international exhibition history was her participation in Parallax Art Fair London (United Kingdom, 2017).

Through her work, Svitlana explores the relationship between colour, form and emotion, combining an intuitive creative process with thoughtful composition. Her practice focuses primarily on abstract art, contemporary landscapes and floral abstraction.

Her paintings invite viewers into a moment of quiet contemplation, leaving space for personal interpretation and emotional connection. Through layered textures and expressive colour, she conveys the beauty of nature, the passage of time and the depth of human experience.

Her works are held in private collections in Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, the United States and Ukraine.
